Unboxing Malifaux - The Sow

'Three heads are better than one'

The Sow box contains enough parts for one miniature...namely The Sow. It also contains a stat card for her though there are no upgrade cards.

The Sow - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of it...

The Sow - Stat Card
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.

The Sow - Instructions

Some General Notes on Assembly.
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

The Sow - Assembled
The two head pieces (far right and far left) overlap the body slightly into recesses on each side so make a good fit. The 'Teats' underneath don't really lock into place so be careful they don't move when gluing them on. There's a few seams that run up the centres of necks and along the heads may need green stuff or some kind of filler however I've spoken to a few other people with this model that have stated that the seams on theirs were barely noticeable so maybe it's just me. The tusks are obviously quite delicate so take care when removing the parts from the sprue and also when handling.

Note - One of the tusk pieces slipped slightly and I didn't notice until I took the pictures so that's my bad and not the models fault.

Here's some close-ups...

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
